1. Introduction
You will learn how to create tax groups, add tax rates, and apply them to products for accurate tax
management.
2. Open Master Data Menu
Click the master data menu to access additional configuration options.
3. Access Tax Configuration
Click Tax Configuration to open the tax settings area where you can manage tax groups and rates.
4. Add New Tax Group
Click Add Tax Group to start creating a new group for GST tax classification.
5. Enter Tax Group Name Field
Click the Tax Group Name field to prepare for entering the group name.
6. Enter Code Label Field
Go to the Code Label field to input the specific code related to the classification system.
7. Enter Code Value Field
Click the Code Value field to prepare for entering the classification code.
8. Add New Tax Rate
Click Add New Tax to begin adding a specific tax rate to the group.
9. Enter Tax Name Field
Click the Tax Name field to specify the name of the tax rate you are adding.
10. Enter Rate Field
enter Rate field to specify rate of the tax rate you are adding.
11. Select Percentage Field
Click the Percentage(%) field to input the tax rate percentage.
12. Submit Tax Rate
Click Submit tax rate to save the CGST rate within the tax group.
13. Add Another Tax Rate
Click Add New Tax to add an additional tax rate to the group.
14. Enter Tax Name Field
Click the Tax Name field to prepare for entering the tax rate name.
15. Enter Rate Field
enter Rate field to specify rate of the tax rate you are adding.
16. Submit Tax Rate
Click Submit tax rate to save the SGST/IGST rate within the tax group.
17. Save Tax Group
Click Save to finalize and store the new tax group with its rates.
18. Open Products Section
Click the Products menu to access the list of products for tax assignment.
19. Edit Product Details
Click edit on the product you want to assign the GST tax group to.
20. Select Tax Option
Click Select Tax to choose the applicable tax group for the product.
21. Choose GST Tax Group
Select the GST 5% – HSN 6109 tax group to apply it to the product.
22. Proceed to Next Step
Click Next to continue with the product update process after tax selection.
23. Open Orders Menu
Click the Orders dropdown menu to access order-related options.
24. Access Order History
Click Orders History to view past orders and their details.
25. View Order Details
Click visibility to open detailed information for a specific order.
26. Download Invoice
Click Download Invoice to save a copy of the order invoice for your records.
27. Applied Tax in Invoice
Tax will be added to the invoice total automatically. Review the final payable amount after tax is
included.
You have successfully configured GST tax settings by creating tax groups, adding tax rates, and
assigning them to products. Verify your setup by reviewing order history and downloading invoices to
ensure accurate tax application.
